I just saw Cirque du Soleil’s Corteo show today in Tokyo. Incredible! It was my first time to see them perform and I felt a little guilty being a Canadian and not witnessing one of Canada’s greatest exports. It’s a circus for right-brain thinkers indeed. Dance, acrobatics/gymnastics, theatre and music, all rolled into one for two hours. Grade 3s at my school just revamped a new unit focusing on performance.

I would love to see their summative assessment task do a stripped down version of this!
