On Dec 1 I wrote about BBC’s The Joy of Stats, a documentary regarding statistics and visual communication. It is hosted by Hans Rosling and is now available on YouTube in full.

Documentary which takes viewers on a rollercoaster ride through the wonderful world of statistics to explore the remarkable power they have to change our understanding of the world, presented by superstar boffin Professor Hans Rosling, whose eye-opening, mind-expanding and funny online lectures have made him an international internet legend.

The clip below is similar to Rosling’s Ted talk, but the one hour documentary also promises to look into crimespotting and Google translations as examples of cutting edge statistics. This should be interesting.
